Real Wooden Casing on Rhythm Clocks

In this post we are going to talk about the wood casings surrounding some of the small world rhythm clocks.

There are a variety of woods used that give a really elegant finish to the clocks. From rich solid oaks to to contemporary alder, the clocks featuring the real wood casing provide a very contemporary and traditional look to any room of your house.

Some models do not have solid wood all the way through, they have a wood skin with MDF underneath. The front is made from real wood, but on the inside it is the MDF. However, most of the models we carry in the shop are solid woods.

In the store, the rhythm clocks are displayed on a wall near the entrance of the shop. I can’t tell you how many times our customer’s stop and look at the clocks as soon as the come in. One of the main things that gets their attention is the real wood finishes. My personal favorite is the Anthology Legend, made from Solid Alder that has been treated with a glossy varnish. It is a real show piece!

When displaying the Rhythm Clocks you should think about which room in the house you will display it in. Also, the facing plays a big role, whether it is darker, or lighter it all makes a difference. Jut something to think about. Lucky for you we have high quality pictures on the site.

One of the main things I wanted to do with this blog is give you some pictures to base your decision.

So without further ado, see below for a full listing of clocks and which wood types….
